Position: Director of Pathology Administration Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island is a 294 bed teaching affiliate of the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University. The Hospital is located 40 miles south of Boston and 10 miles north of Providence. Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island has an exceptional opportunity for a qualified individual as the Director of Pathology Administration. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, the Director’s responsibilities encompass all sections within clinical and anatomic pathology areas. The Director maintains twenty-four hour accountability for delivery of high quality cost effective laboratory services. This position requires excellent skills in communication, collaboration and negotiation. Management skills in planning, organizing and directing the activities of others are essential.
